They say “Rome was not built in a day” and every brick and stone is history. It’s true, so you can’t see much in a day, but a day in Rome is A DAY IN ROME!! It means a nice walk, amazing scenery, delicious food, good times! I started my day with a leisurely walk to The Vatican City and St.Peter’s Square. Spent the afternoon and evening with friends exploring the streets of the old Trastevere neighborhood, people watching and enjoying some great food and drinks. The day wrapped up with a night stroll by Fontana di Trevi and the Spanish Steps. In case you are wondering , I did throw a coin in Trevi with a wish to return. I’m sure that coin is next to all other coins I ever left there and chances are, many of yours too!
